We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including for security, backup, archiving, and legal/compliance requirements. Typical retention periods include:

  • Contact and inquiry records: up to 24 months after our last interaction, unless a longer period is required by law or necessary to resolve a dispute.
  • Analytics data: up to 24 months in aggregated or pseudonymized form where feasible.
  • Security and log data: up to 24 months, or longer if needed for investigations.

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized access, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it. Parents or guardians who believe we have collected such information may contact us at [email protected].

Health Information and HIPAA

PharmaWeb provides educational content and does not provide medical care. We are not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate. Do not submit protected health information (PHI) to us. • Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Request to receive your personal information in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share as defined by California law).

Other State Privacy Laws

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah may have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of certain personal data, as well as to opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, and certain profiling. We do not sell personal data or engage in targeted advertising as defined by these laws. Where required by law, we will treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of sale/sharing (noting that we do not sell or share personal information as defined by California law).

Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may include content or features operated by third parties (e.g., embedded tools or analytics). These third parties may collect information subject to their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties that we do not control.

International Users

We operate in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries with different data protection laws than your country of residence.

CAN-SPAM and Marketing Communications

If we send you email communications, we will do so in accordance with applicable law. You may opt out of non-transactional emails by using the unsubscribe instructions in the message or contacting [email protected]. We may still send administrative or service-related messages.
